Ames Doty inspecting our stone carving factory in Huian, China

Mr Ames Doty from Tucson, Arizona spent this October holidays in our beautiful old town of Chongwu, Huian making an inspection of our stone carving workshops and exchanging ideas about carving techniques with our master carver Yang, production manager Yuming, Haipeng and other veteran workers.

A happy visit to Jimei-Ji Cutural and Creative Industry Park opposite to Jimei University before we left Xiamen for Chongwu. Here I’d like to give a special thanks to Mr Yang Jing-chu, the founder of Aotu Vision, and Wei Zu-qin, the host of Guan Lan Ge Gallery.

Yuming in front of the granite statue of Kwanyin, which interested Ames who is also a true believer in Buddhism.

The modle of 32-meter high Statue celebrating the 116th anniversary of the birth of the People’s Republic of China’s 1st president MAO Tze Tung, installed in Changsha, Hunan. Ames found happily that the great man also had a long hair.
