Hand-carved Granite Statues of Chinese zodiac animals

The Chinese Zodiac is based on a twelve-year cycle, each year associated with an animal sign starting from the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, to pig. You may know this lunar callendar year is the Year of the Sheep. Then, 2016? Yes, it’s the Year of the Monkey. And 2027? Great, Sheep again.

It is believed in China that there has been some kind of relationship between human and the 12 zodiacal animals in the similar way like the western astrology signs.

Take me, I was born in the Year of the Pig. I am thought to be a person who is not afraid of difficulties and problems and tell no lies, but sometimes trusting, so easily falls in traps.

Some politicians born in the same zodiac year as me:
Hillary Rodham Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Chiang Kai-shek
