“Lai” that means “come” picked as the Chinese Character of the Year of 2015 in my city Quanzhou

 

2015泉州年度汉字“来”

Do you want to know the reasons what made “来”, the Chinese character on the above photo, which reads “Lai” in Chinese mandarin and means “come” in English,  become the Chinese Han Character of the Year of 2015 in my city Quanzhou on this past December 31, Beijing Time.
